Vegetable Glycerin:

Vegetable glycerine adds moisturizing cleaning power to this baby soap.

Lavender Essential Oil

Lavender is perfect for soothing and calm. You could use just about any essential oil that is safe for a baby, but I prefer to use lavender.

Distilled Water

That’s it! These ingredients are relatively inexpensive and are in stores such as Walmart and Target.

This soap is just a body soap and is not for bubble baths. You can view my recipe for bubble bath if you want to use it for your older kids or yourself! However, this soap recipe will work as a body soap for the whole family! You can customize the scents for your kids and yourself with different essential oils!

It is also safe for those with sensitive skin or those with eczema or psoriasis as it won’t dry out your skin! This baby soap is also safe as a natural baby shampoo and can replace your tear-free soap and shampoo for babies and kids.

How to make Baby Soap:

This gentle baby soap recipe is simple to make. All ingredients can be mixed with a whisk or stick blender in a mixing bowl and put into a glass jar or bottle!

You will need:

1/2 cup vegetable glycerin
1 cup liquid castile soap
1 cup of distilled water
15 drops of lavender essential oil

How to use your baby soap recipe:

To use your baby soap, simply put a small amount of liquid soap onto a washcloth and cleanse your baby. A little goes a long way, so no need to use any more than a nickel-sized amount!

To store your baby soap:

This soap should be stored in a cool, dry place. This would preferably be stored in an amber glass bottle so the essential oils don’t go rancid in your soap.
